Black Walnut Pumpkin Cookies

1 cup sugar
½ cup margarine, softened
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purposed flour
½ cup chopped Black Walnuts
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 ¼ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
Powdered sugar (for topping)

Heat oven to 375°F. Beat sugar and margarine in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed for about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Beat in pumpkin and eggs and stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 2″ apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8–10 minutes or until edges are set. Immediately remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on wire rack. Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar
