Black Walnut Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 – 1 cup Hammons Black Walnuts, chopped

 

Caramel Mixture:
1 package caramels
1/3 cup evaporated milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together milk, butter, and cake mix.  Pat half of mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.  Bake 5 minutes.

While baking, make caramel mixture by melting caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in microwave, keep warm.

Remove pan from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips and black walnuts on top, spread caramel mixture on top, drop rest of cake mixture on by spoonfuls.  Bake approximately 20 minutes.  Makes 2 dozen.
