Black Walnut Banana Bread

1 cup sugar

½ cup shortening

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 bananas, mashed

½ cup black walnuts

Dash of salt

2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda



Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F, grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla thoroughly; add bananas and black walnuts, then dry ingredients. Bake 1 hour.
